events we host monthly events for various activities such as book discussions, party game nights, watch parties, dungeons and dragons sessions, secret santa, and media bingo. some of our events even have prizes such as game keys, bookmarks, stickers, etc.
rules honey media club is a friendly and inclusive community that welcomes people from all walks of life. if you are not an inclusive person, then you are not welcome here.

| every month our book club yaps about the monthly & periodically hosts book talks in vc's. book themes/genres are suggested by members, voted on, books that fit the theme are submitted, and then a vote for the final book choice is held. | examples: the adventures of amina al-sirafi, spells for forgetting, project hail mary, & the shadow of the gods. |

| every month our tv/film club chooses something to watch party together in discord. movies are chosen similarly to the book club as a theme is suggested, movies are submitted, and then a final vote is held. | examples: labyrinth, the ballad of songbirds and snakes, howl's moving castle, & interstellar. |

| every month our gaming club hosts a gaming night for everyone to participate in. game nights feature a wide variety of genres such as party games, shooters, horror games, narrative story games, and more. | examples: jackbox party pack, fortnite, the outlast trials, & the quarry. |
about us
absolutely zero tolerance for any sort of disrespectful or rude behavior. This includes racism, homophobia, transphobia, misogyny, xenophobia, and all other forms of hate speech. this will result in an immediate and indefinite ban.
keep discussions respectful. this is a place to embrace your love of media, and that means understanding that people can like things that you don't like. heated discussions will be shut down.
always follow spoiler guidelines when posting. a warning will be issued for the first offense unless it appears intentional. the second will result in a ban.
keep nsfw to a minimum. while this is an 18+ community, we prefer to keep things tame for everyone. speaking about nsfw content is okay if related to the discussion (such as smut book recs), but please no photos or videos ever.
do not dm other members unless they have the "dm's open" role or you ask first. this is a friendly community, but please respect each other's privacy. we have a role that shares this information for a reason.
